Job summary

Jet Aviation in Teterboro, NJ is seeking a Trainer for its FBO to develop and enhance the capabilities of new and existing staff. You will promote Safety 1st culture, support daily base operations, and align training with Jet Aviation policies to achieve business targets.

You'll work with Base Management, delivering effective training programs, maintaining records, and driving quality customer service in a dynamic 24/7 aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of Line & Ramp Services experience with NFPA 407 and ATA 103 knowledge.
• NATA Line Service training certificate.
• Strong coaching, training, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site practices and procedures for safety and enjoyment.
• Lead regular safety meetings and ensure clear communication with team and management.
• Promote Jet Aviation values with emphasis on safety and quality customer service.
• Develop, modify and monitor employee training programs for accuracy and currency.
• Deliver active, relevant training drawing on participants' experiences.
• Assess training effectiveness and document progress and achievements.
• Communicate safety issues to base Director and maintain training records.
• Support daily operations and onboarding of new employees.
