Job summary

Setnix LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Facility Manager to maintain a safe, functional, and well‑run facility. This hands‑on role oversees day‑to‑day upkeep, coordinates repairs, and ensures compliance with safety procedures while working with leadership, vendors, and contractors.

You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, and general maintenance issues, schedule external services, and manage tools and supplies, contributing to a productive aviation maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility management or related field preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize when repairs require a licensed or specialized professional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day condition and upkeep of the facility and surrounding property.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance, repair, and safety concerns.
• Address minor plumbing issues, including leaks, fixtures, drains, fittings, and threaded plumbing connections.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and coordinate professional service when needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor irrigation issues as well as minor electrical repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Communicate major repair needs, safety concerns, or facility issues to leadership.
• Follow company safety procedures and facility requirements.
• Assist with additional facility projects and responsibilities as needed.
