Job summary

AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a Facilities Manager to maintain grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure a safe, functional worksite. You will lead maintenance, safety, and management tasks to promote a clean and secure environment for all staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with outside contractors, inspecting facilities, managing work orders, training the team, and ensuring compliance with safety and government standards while contributing to long-term facility planning.

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical skills with plumbing/HVAC knowledge.
• Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
• Able to read manuals and manufacturer sites.
• Strong communication across all employee levels.
• Excellent time management and multitasking.
• Leadership and team supervision experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance orders.
• Coordinate with contractors for modifications and expansion.
• Inspect facilities and perform repairs as needed.
• Manage work order requests and track resolutions.
• Train and coach facilities staff.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of all areas.
• Maintain records of warranties, licenses and contracts.
• Prepare reports for supervisors.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in emergency response planning.
