Job summary

Alaska Airlines is offering a summer 2027 internship in SeaTac, WA for 12 weeks. Interns will join cross-functional teams to work on cost forecasting, data analysis, and reporting tools that influence maintenance budgets and asset management. Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management or Data Analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and data interpretation basics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical engine shop visit data to identify cost drivers and quantify fall out impacts.
• Develop cost forecasting models using maintenance data and trends.
• Create dashboards to monitor shop visit costs and fleet maintenance metrics.
• Conduct fleet-wide analyses to support maintenance planning and budgeting.
