Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking talented students for a summer 2027 internship in SeaTac, WA. This full-time 12-week program offers hands-on projects in Supply Chain, with relocation if needed, and exposure to cross-functional teams.

Interns gain experience developing standardized processes, training frameworks, and digital tools, while networking with employees and leaders across Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining.
• Must have junior or higher academic standing at application time.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Document and standardize key supply processes and develop TRAX quick reference guides.
• Evaluate warehouse layout, storage practices, and inventory discrepancy trends.
• Analyze shipping processes and identify bottlenecks to improve material movement.
• Develop a structured training framework including onboarding and cross-training.
• Convert manual processes to digital tools and create self-paced learning resources.
