Job summary

Sheltair Aviation is hiring a customer service representative in Orlando who will interact with pilots, passengers and coworkers in a fast-paced aviation environment. The role requires sharp data entry for invoicing, fuel records and payments, plus coordination of fuel orders, travel arrangements and related services.

The CSR must handle variable hours, weekends, and maintain a professional appearance while delivering courteous, accurate service and adhering to FAA/DOT guidelines and company

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
  • Two to four years’ relevant experience in related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in basic math.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Typing speed of 40–60 words per minute.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check following FAA/DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pilots and passengers with fuel orders, online times, arrivals/departures notices, directions, rental reservations, hotel and catering arrangements, and vehicle management.
  • Enter data related to invoicing, payment processing and fuel records.
  • Assist with general cleaning and stocking of pilot/passenger areas with coffee, water and other items.
  • Adapt to changing work hours, variable schedules and weekend shifts as required.
