Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute assigned projects with significant complexity. You will oversee materials, equipment, people, and documentation to meet project goals for timely, profitable completion, aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role reports to the National Aviation Vertical and requires 100% travel across the United States. Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years construction with 3+ years supervision is ideal, with Lean and

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction experience and 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles and aviation-type projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage project site care, custody and control.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings; participate in progress and OAC meetings.
• Create and manage project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Oversee budget tracking and cost reporting using project management systems.
• Ensure quality via specifications, QA/QC, and external resources.
• Support project closeouts through pre-punch and owner/architect coordination.
• Plan field staffing and assist in project pursuits and changes negotiations.
