Austin Commercial, a leading construction firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Aviation Division. The PM will oversee a major aviation project, direct a large project staff, and coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in construction management or related field with 10+ years PM experience, OSHA 30-Hour training, and strong cost/schedule control skills.

Formación

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project manager software.
• Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
• Ability to build and manage multiple high performing teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Austin Commercial is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees a major construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Organizes and manages a large project staff where the duties of project managers and superintendents must be divided between multiple employee-owners.
• When a project is to be handled through a preconstruction agreement, the PM works with owners and architects during plan development, providing input and preliminary budget estimates.
• Assumes startup activities on the project; coordinates with site logistics and subcontractors to minimize disruptions.
• Performs a detailed review of subcontractor bids and ensures bonds and insurance are in place; manages payments.
• Ensures contract terms are met and maintains high quality standards; documents issues for reference.
• Prepares monthly pay requests and tracks cash flow; coordinates with scheduling to maintain deadlines.
• Develops and maintains a master construction schedule and updates CPM as needed.
