Austin Commercial, part of Austin Industries, Inc., is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Aviation Division. We are a 100% employee-owned firm with a strong commitment to safety, service and integrity, and a track record of delivering landmark commercial projects.

You will lead planning, budgeting and on-site execution across complex scopes, coordinating owners, architects and subcontractors to meet schedule, cost and quality goals.

Qualifications

• BS in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project management software.
• Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
• Ability to build and manage multiple high performing teams.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Oversees a major construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases.
• Organizes and manages a large project staff with owner-owners and superintendents.
• Provides input on plan development and preliminary budgets; coordinates bids and final cost estimates.
• Manages startup activities, site logistics, and delivery scheduling to minimize traffic disruption.
• Reviews subcontractor bids, ensures bonds/insurance, and resolves contract interpretation issues.
• Ensures contract terms/standards are met; inspects work for quality per plans and specs.
• Approves subcontractor work, processes payments, and resolves close-out items.
• Maintains a cost accounting system and prepares monthly job status reports.
• Develops and updates the master construction schedule and manages change orders.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; promotes safety and team development.
