Job summary

Flexjet in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Charter Coordinator to join the Operations team. This role collaborates with Scheduling and outside suppliers to ensure Owner trips meet standards and expectations.

Responsibilities include requesting quotes, understanding aircraft capabilities, scheduling accordingly, negotiating pricing, and ensuring safety and on-time performance. The position requires a 365/24/7 mindset with willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 1–3 years in aviation/logistics.
• Knowledge of FARs for Part 91/121/135 preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Request charter quotes from third party providers via phone, email, or web.
• Understand aircraft in fleet and market options (range, capacity, runway length).
• Schedule trips on aircraft meeting owner specs.
• Escalate urgent issues to operations management.
• Negotiate pricing to optimize buying strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with charter vendors.
• Ensure safety standards are met by vendors before trips.
• Monitor flight follow-ups for on-time performance.
• Audit invoices and approve for payment.
• Provide excellent customer service with prompt communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
