This hands‑on leadership role requires strong decision‑making, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced aviation environment, with responsibilities across staffing, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of operations, food service, catering, logistics, or similar management experience.
• Experience supervising employees and coordinating multiple departments or work areas.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, time-sensitive operation with aviation requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret customer orders, production requirements, SOPs, schedules, and documentation.
• Comfortable working with scheduling, inventory, dispatch, temperature-monitoring, ERP, and other operational software.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, Microsoft Office).
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required airport credentials.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by aviation operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily kitchen, production, warehouse, assembly, dishwashing, dispatch, and delivery operations.
• Ensure all customer and flight orders are produced, checked, staged, dispatched, and delivered on time and to specification.
• Act as the senior operational leader on duty when the GM or AGM is unavailable.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow across production areas based on workload and flight schedules.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure staff understand workload, priorities, and orders.
• Monitor flight schedules and adjust production and dispatch accordingly.
• Maintain effective communication across kitchen, dispatch, and customers.
• Ensure proper order verification before dispatch with quantities, specs, labeling, and docs.
• Oversee dispatch and delivery, assign drivers by airport and aircraft requirements.
• Ensure proof-of-delivery and required delivery documentation are completed.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages or waste.
• Assist with receiving and ensure proper storage and labeling per procedures.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO and date labeling adherence.
• Monitor waste, overtime, labor utilization, costs, and performance metrics.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
