Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Houston, TX seeks a Commercial Kitchen Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance of Newrest Catering Facilities at IAH Airport. You will manage kitchen equipment, HVAC, freezers, ice plant, and hot food storage, and respond to urgent maintenance to keep airline meal service running.

The role requires strong leadership, safety, budgeting, HR and purchasing coordination, plus CMMS proficiency. On-call scheduling and ability to work evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in management, operations, finance, and electrical maintenance.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• CMMS proficiency and basic computer skills.
• Airport-security badge ability and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment, HVAC, freezers, ice plant and hot food storage.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues affecting meal delivery.
• Manage day-to-day site operations including safety, accounting, HR, purchasing, and warehouse.
• Provide direction for maintenance and admin staff; ensure efficiency, profitability, and safety.
• Coordinate interfaces with customers and manage expectations.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports; maintain organization and lead.
