Job summary

SkyChefs, a leading airline catering provider in Boston, seeks a Controller to manage financial affairs for the CSC and business units, driving financial analyses and reporting to support daily decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years finance experience with 1 year in financial management, 1–3 years catering experience, and SAP proficiency. CPA/MBA preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related major field of study required.
• Three to five years finance experience with at least one year in financial management required.
• One to three years catering or related experience required.
• CPA/MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit and Loss (P&L), customer profitability reports, budgets and interim forecasts.
• Ensure complete and accurate customer accounting and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal audit processes to ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and ensure robust inventory reporting and control.
• Identify cost and revenue opportunities to support CSC financial goals.
• Drive financial accountability across kitchen operations from material costs to departmental costs.
