Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs is seeking a Finance / Accounts Receivable Coordinator at our Houston site. This hourly role supports the Controller and Finance team with billing, invoicing, reporting, and month-end close activities in a fast-paced airline catering environment.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and approve financial and operational data with the CSC Controller.
• Support labor standards and reporting with the CBASE team.
• Manage billing and invoicing, including closing flights in the CBASE portal and generating invoices.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies; assist Genpact team.
• Maintain digital financial files per internal control requirements.
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Generate and analyze reports to aid business decisions.

Position Overview

The Finance /Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Controller and Finance team through billing, invoicing, reporting, month-end close activities, and financial administration. This role partners closely with operations, customer service, and internal support teams to ensure accurate billing, data validation, and compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced airline catering environment

• Work schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30pm-4:00pm.Must be flexible to work an occasional weekend for month-end close
• Pay grade: Hourly pay rate of $21-$23/hour based on experience

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Customer Service Center (CSC) Controller to review, validate, and approve financial and operational data.
• Work closely with the CBASE team to support labor standards and related reporting activities.
• Manage billing and invoicing activities, including closing flights in the CBASE portal and generating credit memos and charter miscellaneous invoices.
• Investigate, follow up on, and resolve billing discrepancies while providing support to the Genpact team.
• Maintain digital financial files and documentation in accordance with internal control requirements.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reconciliations.
• Generate and analyze reports to support business operations and financial decision-making.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Controller and Finance team.
• Assist with other accounting, reporting, and controlling duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience utilizing SAP reporting and financial systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers and senior management.
