Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Supervisor I, Operations to lead the A320 department’s production activities on the 2nd shift.

You will direct, supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations, manage tools and jigs, and ensure safety and quality across the station. This role requires 3–5 years in aviation manufacturing, leadership experience, and working knowledge of quality and logistics rules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Aviation (Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Processes, Production method, etc.) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Leadership experience in Aviation is highly preferred.
• Experience with Quality / Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
• Experience as a member and leader of an international team.
• Authorized to Work in the US.
• Knowledge of KPIs; Quality Management Systems; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate all operational Production activities in a defined station and/or area of responsibility.
• Manage tools and jigs, maintenance, repair and calibration for the station.
• Coordinate and communicate station activities across Final Assembly Line and management.
• Develop manpower forecast requirements based on workload and skill needs.
• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain delivery schedules and quality.
