Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking an Operations Leader 2nd Shift for Completion to join our Production team. You will manage and develop a production crew to meet time, quality, cost and safety targets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure effective communication across interfaces.

As part of the management team, you will lead the A/C through the Station, coordinate with interfaces, and uphold OSHA safety standards while delivering on KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation manufacturing
• 3-4 years of leadership experience in aviation
• Experience with Quality/Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and structured work ethic
• Experience as a member and leader of an international team

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to production activities and supervise the Station.
• Lead safety culture and OSHA compliance within the team.
• Provide leadership to the Autonomous Production team (APT).
• Routinely report progress to upper management and coordinate with other stations.
• Ensure material availability to guarantee work progress.
• Collaborate with Quality, Procurement and other functions to improve workflow.
• Lead Station in achieving annual objectives (CI, KPIs).
• Develop action plans to improve AOS grade for the assigned area.
