Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking an Operations Leader for 2nd Shift in Completion to manage and develop a production team, drive continuous improvement and ensure safety, quality and cost targets are met.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and 5+ years in aviation manufacturing with 3–5 years of leadership experience. On-site work with strong cross-functional collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in aviation manufacturing/engineering roles.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in aviation.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to production activities and supervise station progress.
• Lead and model safety per OSHA requirements.
• Provide leadership to the Autonomous Production team (APT).
• Routinely report progress to upper management and coordinate with other stations.
