Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a Supervisor I, Operations for the A320 department. You will direct and coordinate production activities, lead a station team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in aviation manufacturing and 2+ years of leadership. You will report to management, maintain KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in aviation manufacturing or equivalent.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in aviation is highly preferred.
• Experience with Quality / Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
• Experience as a member and leader of an international team.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Knowledge of production management systems and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all employees assigned to the Station.
• Provide direction and oversight to production activities and monitor aircraft progress.
• Routinely report to upper management on progress and issues.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to OSHA rules and regulations.
• Coordinate Station activities with Final Assembly Line and other teams.
• Develop manpower forecasts based on workload and required skills.
• Identify and resolve production issues to protect delivery schedules.
• Coach and develop team members (15–25 staff) to grow talent.
