Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Onsite AV/VC Event Technician to support live events with audio-video and video conferencing expertise. You will coordinate with client teams, troubleshoot issues, and develop documentation for event organizers.

The role requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, flexibility for night/weekend events, and hands-on knowledge of AV systems and networking in venue deployments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 2+ years in corporate live events or A/V support.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated success in event coordination and project coordination.
• IT knowledge of Android, Chrome, iOS, Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent understanding of signal flow in audio and video installations with troubleshooting ability.
• Flexibility to work night/weekend events.
• Career path showing increasing responsibility and measurable results.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency with helpdesk ticketing software and with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar).
• Understanding of networking for A/V and venue deployments (WiFi, VLANs, ISPs).
• Familiarity with A/V events production and post-production workflows.

Job description

Milestone Technologies is seeking an Onsite AV/VC Event Technician experienced with audio-video, video conferencing, event coordination, and troubleshooting. You will provide onsite AV event support and assist the client alongside partner teams to ensure successful events. Additional duties often include creating support documentation, remediating live event issues, and providing direct training to client's event organizers. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting successful events and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated success in event coordination and project coordination
• IT knowledge of Android, Chrome, iOS, Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems
• Excellent understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations with the ability to provide advanced troubleshooting
• Ability to keep a flexible schedule to accommodate some night/weekend events
