Astreya is seeking an AV Technician I to join our onsite team in Mountain View, CA. You will install and support AV/VC systems, perform troubleshooting, and assist with event setups across client sites. Occasional travel to client offices is required.

You will work with audio/video conferencing gear, control systems, and presentation displays while ensuring SLAs are met and safety protocols are followed. Strong diagnostic skills and customer service mindset are essential.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED with 0–2 years of related experience or equivalent
• Ability to work independently
• Strong wiring/termination skills and proper AV installation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service
• Understanding of architecture, electrical, structural & AV drawings
• Ability to travel to support distant events as needed
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsabilidades

• Assist with installation of AV equipment and displays including conferencing, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems, and presentation systems
• Install structured cabling: pull, terminate, and test cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables
• Meet SLAs and update tickets
• Upload Crestron programs and coordinate with remote team for certification
• Assist with inventory and RMA processes
• Follow client policies, standards and safety guidelines
• Troubleshoot installation issues and perform event equipment setups/breakdowns
• Conduct pre-event checks and liaise with cross-functional teams and end users
• Address requests with vendors and identify issues affecting conference rooms
• Other duties as assigned
