Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an Audiovisual Systems Specialist I to support audio, video, and telemedicine for education, research, and patient care. You will design and program control systems, manage conference room tech, and coordinate multimedia projects with limited supervision.

The role requires an associate degree or 2 years of related experience, plus certifications or equivalent. You will work on demanding projects while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and branding standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a media-related field or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field required.
1 of the following certifications required: Extron AV Associate Certification, Crestron Certified Programmer, Vidyo Technical Certification, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA.
Demonstrated project management, consultative, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.

Responsibilities

Provide audio, video, and telemedicine support for education, research, and patient care needs.
Develop, coordinate, and implement multimedia projects with limited supervision.
Design and program control systems, conference room tech, and room automation.
Coordinate with stakeholders to determine audiovisual infrastructure requirements for conference rooms and telemedicine solutions.
Assist with meetings and events requiring audiovisual capabilities and use of control systems.
