Job summary

Central Oregon Community College seeks a Streaming Support Technician at the Madras Campus to provide on-site classroom and streaming support for remote and in-person courses. You will act as the primary liaison for students, instructors, and ITS, ensuring smooth operation of AV and streaming systems during live classes across COCC locations.

The role emphasizes first-response troubleshooting, strong customer service, and collaboration with eLearning and ITS teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Basic troubleshooting of AV equipment and streaming systems in classrooms.
• Willingness to learn new classroom AV technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Orient students to streaming processes and classroom procedures.
• Operate classroom AV hardware and streaming systems to ensure quality instruction.
• Serve as first point of contact for AV/streaming issues at the Madras Campus.
• Record and report issues, escalate when needed, and document resolutions.
• liaise between Madras Campus and Bend-based eLearning and ITS departments.
