Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking an IT/AV Support Specialist in New York to ensure smooth AV operations for meetings and events, plus day-to-day office support. You will balance technical AV skills with strong customer service and IT capability in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in AV/IT roles, experience with Dante, Crestron, BiAmp/QSC, and conferencing platforms, and a solid networking foundation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a combined AV/IT support role.
• Proven experience with live AV event support and related systems.
• Ability to configure and support conferencing technologies and AV control systems.
• Strong understanding of IP networking principles and diagnosing connectivity issues.
• Experience supporting users in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Familiarity with Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365 and mobile devices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to explain tech to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Train and orient in-room systems to end users.
• Manage and maintain AV systems for office reliability and performance.
• Provide AV support for meetings, events and live broadcasts.
• Support and configure AV hardware including Dante, Crestron, BiAmp/QSC and Logitech/Polycom.
• Coordinate AV repairs and service with external vendors.
• Route audio/video across systems and troubleshoot backend AV issues.
• Provide live meeting support on Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
