Job summary

RPM AVS in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager to own commercial AV projects from planning through completion. You’ll coordinate teams, resources, and schedules, while mentoring technicians and ensuring installations meet RPM standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive AV installation experience and a proven ability to read drawings, manage stakeholders, and drive projects to on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial AV or related construction.
• 5+ years hands-on commercial AV installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret AV drawings and bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution by coordinating people, equipment, materials, schedules, and resources.
• Plan ahead with integrators and stakeholders to ensure readiness before work begins.
• Lead from the field by directing technicians and removing obstacles.
• Maintain site presence through regular visits and ensure quality meets RPM standards.
• Drive quality by reviewing work and addressing issues early.
• Mentor technicians and develop team members’ skills.
• Keep communication moving with daily project reports.
• Protect schedule and budget by monitoring progress and taking action.
