Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician 2 to perform on-site AV installation tasks and lead Level 1 Technicians on projects. You will read schematics, terminate cabling, test systems, and coordinate with Project Managers to meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lead small project teams on site.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks and client training per project scope.
• Provide site leadership and oversee Level 1 Technicians.
• Read and interpret project schematics and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to install and terminate AV cabling.
• Test point-to-point cabling and system functionality.
• Track and secure all equipment and tools on site.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on daily status.
• Communicate with other trades and on-site customers.
• Travel to various job sites.
• Support evolving priorities and tasks as needed.
