Job summary

Solutionz, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Greenville, SC to maintain, troubleshoot and support integrated audiovisual systems for customers. This is a field-based role with travel across South Carolina and surrounding markets; candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of the Greenville office.

Qualifications

• CTS certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in AV service, support, installation, or a related technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with commercial audiovisual systems.
• Knowledge of video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration technologies.
• Experience supporting Crestron, AMX, and other AV control systems.
• Knowledge of audio DSP systems, amplifiers, speakers, and microphones.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP-based AV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service requests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the Southeast region as required.
• Ability to effectively interact with field personnel, management, vendors, and customers.
• Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to support AV systems.
• Provide remote support to other service technicians by phone, Teams, or Splashtop when needed.
• Troubleshoot AV systems including video conferencing, IP networks, and DSPs.
• Support video wall, digital signage, and projection systems.
• Conduct site surveys for service quotes.
• Perform preventative maintenance of AV deployments.
• Complete daily end-of-day reports and time tracking.
• Maintain reports for Lead Technicians and Project Managers.
• Assist in commissioning services for new installations.
• Research and resolve system issues with the team.
• Respond to emails/voicemail outside hours when required.
• Complete timecards daily.
• Other tasks as assigned.
