Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. in Bluffton, SC is seeking an experienced AV Service Technician to join our client’s team and support on-site and remote service for complex AV and network systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, documentation, and maintaining excellent client relations in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in AV installation/service, with expertise in Control4, LAN/WIFI networking, and various low voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of AV and network systems.
• Proficiency with Control4 automation and control systems.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience installing and servicing various low voltage systems.
• Advanced understanding of AV interconnections, computer networking (LAN and WIFI), control system programming, surround sound/stereo system setup, and AV installation methods.
• Good driving record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds with power tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote access service for AV and network systems.
• Accurately document problems and maintain records of exemplary service.
• Ensure excellent client relations.
• Troubleshoot advanced low-voltage systems including AV, network, home integration, lighting control, motorized systems, televisions, projectors, and streaming services.
