Job summary

Encore Global in Mashantucket, CT is seeking a part-time Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will report to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and ensure customer satisfaction during events.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license for vehicle operation, and a background in hospitality or AV. Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days for external applicants.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.
• Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship.
• Handles equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
