Job summary

Pinnacle Live in Boston, MA is seeking an Event Services Technician to support floor operations, including setup, strike and operation of AV solutions in a hotel environment while delivering unmatched guest and client service.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, planned work, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Prior AV or hospitality experience and basic computer networking knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, the individual must demonstrate technical aptitude and ability to follow SOPs.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Experience in AV or hospitality environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation and strike of AV equipment per SOPs.
• Greet guests/clients and provide clear instructions on equipment use.
• Maintain communication with client to ensure event success.
• Address client requests and look for opportunities to enhance events.
• Keep accurate client event information in company systems.
• Review invoices with client and obtain signatures.
• Comply with security, safety and inventory procedures.
• Ensure inventory is in good working order and secured from theft/damage.
• Report any lost, stolen or damaged equipment to management.
• Keep occupied areas clean, organized, and up to company standards.
• Develop technical skills in audio, video, staging, computing and networking.
• Adhere to all company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
