Job summary

BASIS ED in Austin is seeking an Auxiliary Programs Coordinator to manage non-instructional activities such as before- and after-school programming, lunch, clubs and sports, and to provide essential support services to teachers and staff.

This role coordinates events, processes school fees, supervises students, coordinates vendors, maintains attendance, and assists with event setup, ensuring smooth operations and a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and work experience.
• Fingerprint clearance required for all BASIS Ed employees.
• 1 year of related duties experience; 2+ years in a similar school role preferred.
• Experience with PowerSchool and Microsoft Office Suite helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising events to support the Annual Teacher Fund.
• Update and oversee school social media platforms and promote events.
• Coordinate auxiliary programming including lunch, clubs, sports and extracurricular activities.
• Collect and process school fees and analyze participation and financial impact.
• Coordinate vendors and assist with event setup (Back to School Night, Meet the Teacher).
• Provide clerical support and maintain regular attendance.
