Best Buy in Rockford, IL is seeking a Car Electronics Installer to install new technology into customers’ vehicles in our installation bay and share product recommendations with customers and teammates. If you have a passion for cars and tech, we provide trainings and certifications to perform at an expert level, with opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2.

You will install car electronics, verify compatibility, and deliver a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience installing car electronics is preferred.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics such as stereos, backup cameras, amplifiers, and dash units.
• Identify compatible products using provided guides and complete installations.
• Verify vehicle make/model and communicate any compatibility concerns.
• Provide high levels of customer service and guidance.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
