Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Car Electronics Installer (Autotech Agent) to install car electronics in the store installation bay, following guides to ensure compatibility and quality. You’ll advise customers and colleagues on products and best practices, with opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2.

You’ll also complete trainings and maintain a clean driving record per safety standards, while providing excellent service and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents)
• Preferred qualifications: Prior experience installing car electronics

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics, including T-harness remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units
• Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Complete required trainings and certifications
