Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Car Electronics Installer (Autotech Agent) for our Champaign, IL store. The role involves installing car electronics, sharing expert recommendations with customers, and delivering top-tier service instore.

Training and certifications will be provided to grow toward Autotech Agent Level 2 as you gain experience. You’ll perform installations of remote starts, stereos, dash cameras, and more while validating compatibility and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards.
• Prior experience installing car electronics (preferred).
• Prior retail experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics, including remote starts, stereos, speakers and cameras.
• Use guides to identify compatible products and complete installations.
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate compatibility concerns.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
