Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Car Electronics Installer to install car electronics in the store's installation bay and share advice, best practices, and product recommendations with customers and employees. This Autotech Agent role offers training and certification to reach Autotech Agent Level 2.

You’ll install stereos, dash cameras, backup cameras, remote starts, amplifiers and in-dash units, verifying compatibility and ensuring high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Must maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards
• Prior experience installing car electronics (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics, including T-harness remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units
• Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Complete required trainings and certifications
• Current, valid driver’s license
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents)
