Job summary

Best Buy is hiring a Car Electronics Installer (Autotech Agent) to install car electronics in the store's installation bay. You will advise customers and colleagues on product recommendations, and pursue certifications to advance within the Autotech track.

You’ll install devices like remote starts, stereos, dash cameras, and amplifiers, following guides and confirming compatibility with each vehicle. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents).
• Preferred qualifications: prior experience installing car electronics.

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics, including remote starts, stereos, speakers, cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units.
• Identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects using provided guides.
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
