Job summary

Best Buy seeks a Car Electronics Installer to fit state-of-the-art tech into customers’ vehicles at the store’s installation bay. You will advise customers and colleagues with product recommendations and complete trained certifications to perform at expert level.

The role, internally known as Autotech Agent, offers opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2 and to grow with a team focused on automotive tech and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior experience installing car electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics, including T-harness remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units.
• Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects.
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards.
