Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Autonomy Sim Infra & Evaluation TPM to drive cross-functional programs that validate driving models and simulation infrastructure. The role emphasizes ML-centric program management, data pipelines, and collaboration with partners to accelerate autonomous capabilities.

You will own end-to-end programs, coordinate across hardware, perception, planning, and infrastructure teams, and balance timelines with model iteration speeds and data needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Technical Program Management on deep tech AI/ML products.
• Hands-on experience with ML-based products and evaluation metrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with external partners for data sharing, deployment, or integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to build simulation infrastructure and tooling for validating Autonomy, including classic stack and end-to-end driving model.
• Develop and maintain simulation datasets to gate regression and track driving behaviors across teams.
• Own programs end-to-end, briefing the VP of Autonomy & AI on progress and risks.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs to meet timelines considering ML data annotation and compute resources.
• Clarify feature readiness and evaluation metrics for leadership, balancing internal and external dependencies.
• Mentor other TPMs on ML-focused programs and share expertise across teams.
