Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Technical Program Manager for its Autonomy Systems Validation team in Palo Alto. You will own the plan aligning on-road and closed-course testing with virtual validation and determine when end-to-end autonomy software is ready for release.

You will partner with autonomy software, functional safety, operations, homologation, and leadership to build an integrated test plan, incorporating AI/ML model development and platform integration, tracking release criteria and KPI?s, and

Qualifications

7+ years delivering complex multi-team software programs in fast-paced environments.
Experience with ML, robotics stacks, metrics-driven analysis and validating end-to-end autonomy.
Strong project management: planning, prioritizing, managing risk and dependencies.
Collaborative leader with ability to explain complex ideas simply and secure buy-in from senior stakeholders.
Strategic and systems thinking; thrive in ambiguity and drive momentum.
BA/BS in Engineering, Robotics, CS, Data Science or equivalent.
