Job summary

Rivian seeks a Technical Program Manager for the Autonomy Systems Validation team in Palo Alto to define and execute strategies that scale our end-to-end data collection fleet. This hands-on, cross-functional role spans operations, autonomy, engineering and program management, driving alignment and execution across stakeholders.

You will manage fleet metrics, build scalable playbooks, and lead cross-team collaboration while maintaining risk mitigation and strong technical oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program/project management, operations management, management consulting or vehicle testing and validation in fast-paced or early-stage environments.
• Planning, prioritizing, adapting to change, managing cost, risk and dependencies, including building playbooks, SOPs and scalable frameworks from scratch.
• Technically strong and data-driven; comfortable with ML, robotics stacks, end-to-end autonomy validation; build dashboards to validate metrics.

Responsibilities

• Drive program delivery by aligning goals to business objectives and forecasting team growth.
• Own fleet efficiency by defining operational metrics and leading data-driven initiatives across data collection fleets.
• Build operational repeatability by streamlining workflows, tooling, and documentation for scalable rollout.
