Textron Systems in Maryland Hunt Valley seeks new graduates to join our Sea Systems team to develop autonomous surface vehicle technologies. You will help design, simulate, build, and test unmanned surface vehicles and subsystems, focusing on autonomous control, payload integration, and vision systems to advance our platforms.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years demonstrated project leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in engineering (software, mechanical, electrical, systems) or a related field.
• Testing and integrating new technology into our family of Ground Vehicle products throughout the lifecycle of the program.
• Executing test engineering tasks – including requirements analysis, design review support, formal validation planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis.
• Preparing and presenting test engineering work products – including test plans, procedures, and reports to internal review teams and external customers.
• Interacting daily with varying US Government customers, commercial customers, program managers, planners, and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and execution of tests for products (hardware, software, systems).
• Test planning, scope definition, resources allocation, procedures creation.
• Write test cases and scripts for functional, performance, security tests.
• Run tests and manage controlled testing environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to improve quality.
