Qualifications

  • 10+ years in robotics, autonomous systems software, data analysis, ML evaluation or large-scale data platforms.
  • 5+ years of people leadership in complex engineering organizations.
  • Ownership of a distinct technical area with strategy and KPI management.
  • Technical leadership, architecture decisions, end-to-end services.
  • Production infra for large-scale data processing, orchestration and observability.
  • Python/C++ in production, including testing and performance.
  • Experience with time-series data and evaluating dynamic systems.
  • Strong analytical curiosity and root-cause capability.
  • Clear communication of complex findings to executives and engineers.
  • Bachelor/Master/PhD or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and roadmap for autonomy evaluation; align with product, safety and release needs.
  • Define end-to-end evaluation strategy for performance, risk and gating.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Autonomy, Simulation, Systems and Safety.
  • Oversee ML components across perception, prediction and planning; ensure scalability and explainability.
  • Develop new statistical/ML methods to quantify performance across scenes.
  • Leverage AI techniques for classification and prioritization of validation work.
  • Maintain high technical bar with design reviews, testing and observability.
  • Develop scalable evaluation infra: data pipelines, orchestration, tooling.
  • Translate results into clear feedback for leadership and engineering.
