Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a hands-on technical engineer to triage and fix complex electromechanical incidents across the Altius fleet in Atlanta, GA. You’ll analyze telemetry, logs, and field data to root out root causes and drive permanent fixes.

Working at the intersection of hardware, software, and military operations, you’ll collaborate with engineering and mission teams, develop runbooks, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in troubleshooting or maintaining complex technical systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on military/defense experience.
  • Strong problem solving at hardware/software/network interface.
  • Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of working with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own incidents: triage, diagnose, and drive postmortems.
  • Review logs and telemetry to isolate failures.
  • Develop deep system knowledge of Altius air vehicle and launcher.
  • Collaborate with teams to turn findings into fixes.
  • Improve fleet observability and health telemetry.
  • Analyze failure data to define trends and staffing needs.
  • Provide responsive customer-facing technical support.
  • Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to runbooks and playbooks; travel as needed.
