Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on managing a book of insurance business with autonomy, providing professional service to clients, carriers, underwriters, and HUB colleagues, and supporting producers to retain and expand business.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of insurance experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; state licensing to insurance practices encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication and superior customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Decisions on books of insurance business and independent client service.
• Collaborate with Producers on client service, marketing, and renewal activities.
• Prepare and implement transactions, correspondence, and documents for accounts.
• Understand client objectives and analyze plans for suitability.
• Stay informed on insurance industry changes affecting clients.
• Negotiate with underwriters and carriers when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot claims and billing issues; maintain data in systems.
• Manage, organize and conduct client meetings as needed.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and leads; contribute to goals.
• Travel on company business as required; prepare management reports.
