Job summary

Uber’s Global Business Development team leads strategic partnerships across the autonomous vehicle value chain for Mobility and Delivery. This role focuses on negotiating with AV operators to deploy and expand Uber’s AVs on the platform worldwide.

You’ll collaborate with Operations, Product, and Legal to design deal strategies, secure alignment with executives, and execute long‑term partnerships that balance immediate impact with durable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in business development, consulting, private equity, or general management with exposure to tech/mobility.
• Strong analytical skills combining business, strategy, finance and legal concepts.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for negotiating with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multifaceted deals with autonomous vehicle partners across the value chain.
• Partner with Ops, Product, Finance, Legal to formulate strategy and drive impact through partnerships.
• Build consensus for deal strategy and support deal execution across senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop long-term relationships with current and prospective partners' senior executives.
• Define balance between near-term traction and long-term value.
• Refine deal strategy and frameworks through negotiation in line with Uber goals and partner needs.
