Job summary

Trucking People in Austin, TX seeks motivated Support Specialists for our autonomous vehicle operations. You will monitor day-to-day technical operations, troubleshoot with Unix commands, and help keep the fleet mission-ready in a fast-paced setting.

Role requires 1 year of technical/operations support, experience with Jira and Slack, and a valid driver’s license (3+ years). Schedule is Monday–Friday, pay rate $20.00–$24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in technical and operations support.
• Proficiency with Unix commands and utilities.
• Direct experience using Slack and Jira for workflow management.
• Proven ability to stay organized while handling parallel requests.
• Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support day-to-day technical operations of an autonomous vehicle fleet.
• Utilize Unix command line environments daily to troubleshoot and manage systems.
• Perform hands-on vehicle readiness checks, including basic cable reconnections.
• Manage and organize multiple service requests via ticketing systems like Jira.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with the team using Slack.
• Assist with occasional vehicle movement within the garage facility.
