Job summary

WME Express in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Fleet Operations Support Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will help prepare vehicles for daily autonomous vehicle testing and provide basic hardware/software troubleshooting and operational support.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in tech or IT, basic Linux/Unix knowledge, and familiarity with Slack or Jira. The shift is 4:00 AM–12:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $20–$24 per hour and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in technical support, IT, operations, or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of Linux or Unix command line.
• Comfortable using Slack, Jira, or other ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Check vehicle systems, lights, cables, and equipment.
• Monitor battery charging and vehicle readiness.

• Update tickets and documentation using company software.
• Move vehicles safely within the facility as needed.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient fleet operation.

4 AM to 12 PM you would provide tech support vehicle operational support for the testing
