Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Class A Driver based in Phoenix, AZ for a 6-month assignment with the potential to extend. You will pilot autonomous semi trucks for testing and pilot operations, rotating day and night shifts, with up to 50% travel and heavy emphasis on safety and collaboration.

The role requires at least 3 years of commercial truck experience, a valid U.S. CDL, DOT compliance, and strong communication skills. In-office work is part of a hybrid environment with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and Interstate Class-A CDL.
• MVR must meet guidelines and pass DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks on road and closed courses.
• Monitor Aurora Driver with alertness during autonomy.
• Provide real-time feedback to engineers on performance.
• Escalate blockers and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Maintain up-to-date access and certifications as required.
