Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to own integration and test activities for critical subsystems on advanced autonomous platforms, spanning bench tests through ground test and flight test support.

You will define fixturing, build test setups, instrument and collect data, and collaborate with systems engineering, structures, and fabrication teams to ensure safe, repeatable test campaigns and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in integration and test of aerospace, defense, or complex electromechanical systems
• Strong test engineering foundation — DAQ setup and operation, sensor selection and installation (thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gages, accelerometers), and fluency in common communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Serial)
• Experience defining fixturing and test setup requirements for bench-level and vehicle-level testing
• Comfortable working hands-on in a lab, shop, or flight line environment alongside technicians and fabrication teams
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
• Defense industry background desirable
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Own subsystem integration and test activities from component-level bench tests through full vehicle ground test, developing right-sized test plans and efficiently capturing and reporting learnings as inputs to design
• Define fixturing, tooling, and test setup requirements, partnering with fabrication and ground support teams on buildup of test hardware and long-lead items
• Develop and execute test programs that characterize subsystem performance across relevant operating conditions and vehicle configurations
• Coordinate with systems engineering, structures, and other discipline teams to define test requirements, load cases, and vehicle configurations needed to support integration milestones
• Instrument, collect, reduce, and report test data, feeding results into vehicle models and handing off clean datasets to support downstream analysis and flight readiness activities
• Focus on the safety of integration environments, ensuring that potential harm to team members is eliminated by design, with particular attention to hazardous materials handling and heavy-lift operations
• Implement and maintain processes for configuration control of integration environments, test fixtures, and test articles
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ground test, and flight test of prototype and production representative systems
