Pronto AI is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair autonomous haulage technology at customer mine sites across the United States. You will deploy retrofit kits, diagnose field issues, and support on-site operations in a hands-on role with substantial travel—up to 75% of time.

The base starting rate for this role is $27.88 - $35.10 per hour. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and mine-site crews to ensure safe, reliable production autonomy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as a heavy equipment technician.
• Experience with low-voltage electrical work (12/24V).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and installation drawings.
• Must mobilize on short notice and travel up to 75% of time.
• Valid US driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy and troubleshoot autonomous retrofit kits on mining equipment.
• Work on customer sites as part of deployment crew, often as the sole technician.
• Perform preventive maintenance for system health and reliability.
• Monitor equipment conditions and log wear or environmental impacts.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in field.
• Represent Pronto on-site with professional communication.
