Job summary

Pronto AI is seeking entrepreneurial Test Operators to help deploy autonomous haulage technology in mining and quarrying sites across the US. This is not a standard driving role, offering rapid growth and close collaboration with our engineering team.

You will work as Safety Drivers at customer deployments, test new features with engineers, and help maintain equipment. Travel to field sites across the US is required, with evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional driving experience of 3–5 years with a clean safety record.
• Experience with heavy equipment is a plus (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers).
• Based in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Safety Drivers in our autonomous off‑road haul trucks at customer deployments across the US.
• Work with engineering teams to test and provide feedback on new technologies/features.
• Operate other heavy equipment when necessary (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers).
• Assist with development and testing of autonomous technologies.
• Follow and help refine safety protocols.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and light maintenance.
• Maintain accurate operating records.
